Deepening Our Welcome - Formation Hour Guest this week!

Our strategic planning process generated enthusiastic responses around the idea of learning how better to welcome our LGBTQ+ neighbors. "Deepening Our Welcome" is a working group at CLC that has been studying, meeting with members of the congregation, and listening for next steps, and one of the pieces we've identified is that we need to learn together! To learn about the ways the Bible might orient us in this process, we will welcome Professor Fred Niedner, beginning this Sunday. When we approach the library of the Bible, what resources do we have for understanding relationships, for loving our neighbors? What do we make of the difficult passages? We invite you to join us in the Sanctuary on October 9 and 16! A recording will be made as well, with the link shared in coming days.
