Dear siblings in Christ,
We have watched with great hope as the Covid infection and case rates have continued moving,
quickly, in such promising directions. We are grateful to see such good news and, as has been our pattern, are ready to make some adjustments in our worship and other planning:
- Starting this Sunday, February 27, masks are encouraged but optional during worship. Naturally if you prefer to stay masked throughout the service, you are of course welcome to do so. Everyone will still need a mask for singing (see below!).
- Starting this Sunday, and especially as we move Lent with our Ash Wednesday service March 2, we are returning singing to our worship services including hymns and liturgical music. We ask that everyone bring a mask, or use one we have provided, for the singing portions.
- For Sunday School, our expectation for students and teachers to wear masks will remain the same for the time being.
As you can imagine we are excited by these developments and trust that you are too. We
will continue to monitor developments in our ongoing pandemic and, should the need arise, we will adjust these as needed. For now though, we look forward to singing together!
