Christ Lutheran and its ministries are always growing, always inventing, always changing, always adapting, always dependably exciting… except for our website! We are delighted to say that’s no longer the case -- thanks to the
leadership and generosity of our Little Lamb Preschool, we are unveiling a new website, new design, and new logos for Christ Lutheran, Little Lamb,
and our CLC Youth programs.
Our staff worked with web and graphic designers to capture who we
are as congregation and ministries. We wanted recognizable logos that are clearly related: we are LLP, and we are CLC Youth, and we are CLC, we are all of these and we want everyone to know it at first glance! The designers caught our vision and together we came up with a set of interrelated logos we are excited to share with you:
In our church logo we see reflections of our beautiful stained
glass, the shape of our altar and Communion rail, and the basic truth of our community: we are many generations (represented by the different sizes of circles), gathered around the Cross, all growing in faith, together. The shapes connect our worship lives from the altar, the Sanctuary, out into the Gathering Area even to our Memorial Garden -- we are, all of us, gathered around worship, around grace, around Christ and around the Cross.
Little Lamb’s logo picks up the imagery of our church logo and
Jesus’ self-description as the “Good Shepherd.” You’ll immediately notice the same outer shape, related colors, and the continued generations, gathered around the peaceful Shepherd. It was important both to Little Lamb and to us as a congregation to express that LLP is “A ministry of Christ Lutheran,” and so we incorporated that phrase deliberately and directly into our design.
You’ll immediately notice our Youth logo continues the same colors,
shapes, and content: many ages, gathered around the cross. This logo includes a shape of a “guiding star” centered into and on the cross, representing our goals and dreams for ministry with and for our youth: as a place of connection, content and comfort, our youth ministries and the faith we foster are a “Guiding Star” for our young people, forming a faith that will lead them into and throughout the rest of their lives.
